In Loving Memory
In Loving Memory

Today, one year ago, my beloved Father, Dr Ugo Fienga, died, after a long and debilitating disease that consumed him for over five years. He was born in Salerno, on June, 6th, 1926.

There are times, when I look back, trying to put my memories together, where I realize that the Time that is given to us, as Men, is very short. However, even though, in certain cases, it may seem (or maybe it actually is) "too short", I do believe that it is always enough to do something worth with it. Something that may, Godwilling, outlive us and talk, litterally, to the Future Generations.

My Dad helped me with my studies and always supported the choices I made, no matter how poor and questionable, sometime, they really were.

He helped me to create the Private Research Foundation known as Lunar Explorer Italia (or Lunexit) and, even during tough times, he always told me to be strong and keep going, no matter what people could say.

"Because, he taught me, if you act in Good Faith, with Passion and with the Right Spirit, nobody can stop you from walking all the way along the road you chose, wherever, in the end, it may take you".

And so I did, I do, and I will do, with the loyal and beautiful support of my Dearest Friends and Colleagues.

I am sorry that I was not good enough to do a number of things that I know my Father would have loved me to do, but I also believe that this small Work, this daily "Cosmic Puzzle" that we try to put together, piece by piece, in an attempt (probably hopeless, considering the era and the world we live in) to find Reasons and Answers, still makes my Dad proud and, probably, it makes him look after us all, once again, gently blessing our neverending Faith and Efforts.

Dr Paolo C. Fienga (PhD)
